Unfortunately, I simply do not trust the traffic information which is supposedly linked to the Garmin via the charging cable. I have regularly been sent on a wild goose chase to avoid an apparent road works, only to find that the road works had moved days agoTom. Tom traffic updates are outstanding but come at a price. I was looking for a sat nav to buy my daughters for Christmas. Already owning this model myself meant I could recommend a product the really was tried and tested 1 of my daughters borrows it all of the time. Because its for Christmas they have not used it but we have found it a great help when travelling it updates and offers alternative routes when there is trouble up ahead. I would also like to say what a fantastic service Halfords click and collect is, it was great to be able to order on line and pay in the shop giving you the added service of paying by cash not card if you wanted.
